We provide services in the Bangor, Newtownards, Holywood, Comber, South & East Belfast, Donaghadee, Millisle, Ballywalter, Ballyhalbert, Portaferry & Portavogie areas.

Ballycopeland Computing Solutions has been trading since the beginning of 2004. We offer a wide range of services and offer a NO FIX NO FEE policy. We offer an On-Site service for most of our repairs if possible. If your computer is infected with Viruses/Spyware or does not turn on we will take it back to our workshop for repair and bring it back to you. Naturally we also make sure that everything is working properly again at your location. To save you having to wait for an appointment for collection you can also bring your PC or laptop to our premises (this must be pre-arranged - please contact us to agree a mutually suitable time).

Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am - 8pm. To ensure that each customer receives our undivided attention, we do not answer our mobiles during callouts. If we are unable to answer when you call, please leave a message on our answering machine with your name and contact number. We will always return your call within 24 hours.

Is your computer running slow?
If the answer is yes then why not try our BCS Health Check. This includes Virus & Spyware removal as well as a spring clean on your computer. All software installed is free and is installed to try and prevent the computer from slowing down again. If a BCS Health Check does not improve performance then BCS will back up and reinstall your computer so you can enjoy the performance the way it was when you first purchased the computer. We will also advise of any upgrades that are actually necessary and discuss how to get the best from your computer.

Computer programs not working the way they used to?
BCS will troubleshoot and attempt to repair any software problems your computer is having. Don't forget we operate a NO FIX, NO FEE policy.

Having problems with your Internet Connection?
BCS will endeavour to fix problems with your Broadband Connection. This can include installation of parental controls, email troubleshooting and setting up/troubleshooting of Wireless Networks. Before calling out to you, BCS will request that you contact your Internet Service Provider e.g. TalkTalk, Sky, BT to see if they can solve your internet problems. If they are unable to help we will give you a helping hand to get the problem solved.

Hardware Repairs:
BCS will carry out any form of PC hardware repair (excluding motherboard replacements for laptops). We constantly check our suppliers, both from NI and UK, in order to ensure that all our customers are getting the best parts for the best price. Most hardware repairs will require our Collect & Return service. We will always inform you of the cost before we undertake any repair. We aim to have all repairs carried out within 2-5 days and operate a SMS update service to keep you informed of progress.

Software Repairs:
BCS can call out to fix any software error messages popping up or fix any problems with any software you are using. Examples: Problems with Outlook Express/Windows Mail/Microsoft Outlook; Problems with Microsoft Office Applications; Problems with Digital Photography Software; Error messages popping up during startup or while using your computer, etc.

Virus & Spyware Removal:
BCS can remove all viruses & spyware from your computer. We also install FREE security and cleaning software to try and prevent any further infections. We recommend NOT to use illegal music/video sites and please do not click on any popups mentioning antivirus scans or PC performance improvement as they are viruses/spyware and a lot of antivirus programs do not block scams that you agree to install. All virus/spyware removal will require our Collect & Return option to ensure that no viruses/spyware remain after our work.

Skype Install:
BCS can call out to you and install skype & webcams and show you the basics so you actually know how to use it! We have a summer 2011 special offer - Skype install & Webcam for only £50.

VHS to DVD:
We offer a VHS tape to DVD conversion service. BCS will collect and return your VHS and DVDs to your door! We charge £15 per VHS tape and the service will take 7 days (we will contact you if the conversion has been carried out earlier).

Data Recovery:
We offer a NO FIX NO FEE policy with our Data Recovery Service. We will endeavour to recover your data from dead computers! We will also try and recover any lost data from memory cards from cameras or recover files that you have accidently deleted from memory sticks. This service normally takes 3-5 days and we will take all the hassle from you through our Free Collect & Return service.
